Blue Ridge Cabin River Rock II Model
The River Rock II at Blue Ridge Cabins. It is an example of their Mountain Architecture Style, which I really like.
Blue Ridge Log Cabins River Rock II
The River Rock Series is part of our Mountain Architecture offering. These homes are built with rustic flavor, designed for those who desire to live in beautiful places, whether it be among the clouds in the mountain tops, lakeside, or on a quiet street not far from town. Mountain Architecture, providing a refuge from the routine.
We toured this house twice when we first bought our land, but I didn’t get many pictures. We dropped by on our way back from the beach last month. They weren’t open, I got some photos this time.
The model has board and batten siding, exposed beams and rockwork.
All of the floor plans that Blue Ridge Log Cabins builds can be a traditional log cabin or this style, with a lot of natural materials, not logs.
Mountain Architecture Options

The footprint is small, but the cabin has two good-sized bedrooms.
That window opens into the kitchen.

The roof peak is almost like an A-frame.
This is the back of the house. The house is designed with a lot of windows to make the most of your view.
The windows are over the living room. The loft is open to the windows, too.
This is dining are of the eat-in kitchen.
It gives more space for the table and chairs. This is another photo from when we toured.
The model shows a small open deck off the living room.
This is the hallway through the window. The downstairs bedroom is to the left. To the right, behind the louvered doors, is the laundry space.
