Build This Kit House in 3 Hours

This is another origami house you can buy complete and set up anywhere, the Weizhengheng 2 or 3-bedroom Expandable Home. They call it a container house. This isn’t a house made from a shipping container. It is a partially assembled house kit that is delivered in a shipping container. All of the parts fit in a single shipping container.

This kit is an Expandable House that can fold up to the size of a shipping container. It can be unfolded and assembled in under 3 hours and completely finished in under a week.

The kit makes a house that is a little more than 645 square feet.

The house has a steel frame with SIP Sandwich panel ceiling and walls. The steel framework is hot galvanized dipped and CO2 welded.

SIP stands for Structural Insulated Panel or Structural Insulating Panel. It is a “sandwich” of rigid insulation between layers of structural board. Huber ZIP System®is the one I see around here.

The interior walls are not supporting, so the house can use any plan you come up with.

It should take as little as seven days to finish the house.
