They finished this container with wood interiors. It has a rock fireplace. Containers are designed to carry a lot of weight, so it doesn’t have to be limited like a tiny towable that is supposed to be towed by a truck. Before you even put anything in it, a shipping container weighs more than anything but the largest SUVs or maybe half-ton pickup trucks could ever tow. They have to be moved by truck, like a side loader or tilt bed truck designed to transport and deliver shipping containers.

With an empty weight of approximately 3,750 kg (8,265 lbs), a 40ft container can accommodate up to 26,730 kg (58,935 lbs) of cargo.

They added windows and doors and some cute elements, like shutters. There is a functional overhang by the front door.

The end has a sliding glass door and a transom window to open the space and add light.

The rustic kitchen has open shelving and functional counter space.

There are pendants and a ceiling fan for lighting. The ladder to the bunk beds is through the door.

This photo shows the kitchen with a bar. It’s not there in the earlier photo. There is evidently enough room to move the fridge over and shoehorn a bar in… practical for more working surface and a place to eat.

I like the single handle hot cold water mixer tall faucet. It looks great and is practical, it makes it easier to fill containers with water. There are two working drawers. The shelves are adjustable.

The photos look like you pass through the bathroom to get to the master bedroom. It is a better use of space than a hallway, I guess.

All of the fixtures are high quality residential style. Nothing is cheaped out or lightweight.
