Midwest Products House Framing 3/4″ Scale Model Kits

Midwest Products House Framing 3/4″ Scale Model Kits are used to teach construction using 3/4″ scale micro-cut wood cut to thousandths of an inch tolerances. The kits use the principles used in real world house framing.

The included instruction booklets explain the purpose of each type of lumber with step-by-step pictures of house framing details.

Midwest Products House Framing Kits come complete with 3/4″ scale micro-cut wood, cutting tools, measuring tape, layout pencils, glue, nails, custom miter fixture, foam work base that doubles as a foundation for the completed model, detailed blueprints, instructions and working drawings.

Some extra wood is included, in case everything doesn’t go right the first time.

Refill kits are available with all of the wood and materials so you can reuse each framing kit again and again “at a fraction of the cost of a full kit.”

You can also buy packs of 3/4″ scale building materials that replicate all of the materials used in framing a house instead of a kit. Design your own house or follow any architectural plans in 3/4″ scale.

Kits and materials are sold in hobby stores and used in schools for Grades 6 – 12. They are used in architecture or woodworking classes.

You won’t age out of these projects, but the kits are not recommended for younger kids because they use really sharp cutting tools.
