Shopping Modular Homes – Blue Ridge Log Cabins

Shopping Modular Homes – Blue Ridge Log Cabins

If you are driving north on I26, just before you cross the North Carolina state line, you will see tiny log cabins on the left and big log cabins on the right. The tiny ones are Green River Cabins. The larger ones are Blue Ridge Log Cabins. We had investigated both before, when we were going to put a tiny house or cabin on another piece of land.

Things were falling apart with the two modular companies. I was still waiting for them to get back to me with pricing. The more I looked at options, the more I didn’t like them. It was a waste of time looking at their websites, since what they said was available, actually wasn’t. I couldn’t sleep, so I spent time browsing and came back to the Blue Ridge Log Cabins website.

When they opened, I went back to look again. They have a lot more floor plans than what they show on their website. I didn’t want a log cabin, but I really like the line called Mountain Architecture with board and batten siding. My husband does really like a log cabin better than board and batten, but it costs more.

I’ve got other photos, but I can’t find them.

They were very helpful, showed me a lot of house plans and options. They can even build duplexes.
