Deciding on a Pre-Fab Cabin Plan from Westwood Cabins
We really like two plans from Westwood Cabins in South Carolina. Both have one bedroom, one bathroom and a really good kitchen.
We looked over a lot of photos on the Westwood Cabins website gallery and their Facebook page to get an idea how these will really look.
Westwood Cabin Floor Plan 3003
This floor plan has the biggest closet, a walk-in closet with room for a stacked washer and dryer. The bathroom has two sinks. That matters to some people. I’d rather have the counterspace. There is a small linen closet.
I like the high open ceiling. They used some open shelving. I prefer closed cabinets to hide the clutter.
This could be the bedroom.
This shows the whole wall and the hallway. The could be wide enough to use as another room.
Here is the washer and dryer stacked in the master closet.
There is a pocket door from the bedroom to the closet. This leaves wall space for a TV.
Westwood Cabin Floor Plan 3004
This plan has a bigger kitchen and a laundry room. The closet isn’t as big, but it’s not as tiny as a lot of the closets I’m seeing in pre-fab cabins.
I really do love this kitchen.
The island adds a lot of counter space and we won’t need a table.
This isn’t actually the laundry room on the plan, but it would be similar.
The bedroom is small. The space goes to the laundry room. The closet gets bi-fold doors.
So, I think it is between these two plans. Or a variation of the two.
Whatever we do, we are going to add a nice big porch.
