480 Square Foot Pre-fab Log Cabin for $52,000
This just showed up on Facebook Marketplace. A pre-fab log cabin for only $52,000! That’s WAY less than we have been looking at.
This not-so-little cabin with log siding and a metal roof is 16×30, finished inside and out. It even includes a full kitchen with all the appliances!
Bed 1 Bath – House 2023/08/30 $52,000
Clay City, KYTiny home/cabin. Brand new, never lived in. 16×30. Perfect for permanent residence or airbnb. Need to install a mini-split or window units for heat/air. Comes with everything seen in pictures including the blocks to set it on.
Looking for a quick cash sale. We can’t do any financing. We have a bill of sale to provide you.
We bought this cabin with the intention of renting it in Red River Gorge, but changed our mind about managing anymore rentals. So we are selling. Currently located in Clay City and will need to be moved to your property.
The house is built with log siding and a metal roof.
The cabin has front and end gables. That makes the interior have a nice high ceiling.
It is set on blocks, like a shed, but could be supported on more stable concrete piers.
The cabin has a small front porch, but a larger porch could be added to it.
This is the back of the cabin.
There is a sliding glass door off the kitchen.
This would be the ideal place to add a deck.
This side of the cabin is 16-feet wide.
The ceiling is vaulted. This makes the small cabin feel more spacious.
The ceilings are high. The cabin comes with ceiling fans with lights.
The walls, ceilings, doors and trim are all natural wood.
There are plenty of functional windows for good airflow.
The kitchen wall is on the back of the cabin. There is a breaker box by the back door.
This is the bedroom side of the cabin.
There is a full bathroom with a walk-in shower, sink with storage and normal residential toilet.
The cabin is complete.
There is a standard hot water heater.
Unfortunately, the cabin was built without permits and inspections, so we cannot use it legally as a residence where we live. It would be a REALLY good office, though. It doesn’t really cost much more than a lot of the sheds we have priced. But the size makes it too expensive to move to our land. Oh well…. This is a really good deal for somebody.
