When tiny homes first came out, we calculated how much it would cost to build one ourselves. It came to more than we expected! And lumber and everything else has gone up a lot since then.
This tiny house is finished, on a frame with wheels and includes the mini split heat pump, single unit washer and dryer, fridge, countertop stove, full bath with sink, shower and toilet, lighting, fan… everything. The house is 8-feet wide and 20-feet long. It weighs 9,000 pounds. The photos show it set up with skirting around it.

The Tiny House weighs 9,000 pounds. There are a lot of standard trucks and SUVs that can tow this much. Here are just a few examples I found easily.
Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD with a diesel engine and towing package can tow up to 12,000 lbs or more.
Chevrolet Tahoe can tow up to 8,400 lbs.
Dodge Durango has a maximum towing capacity of 8,700 lbs.
Ford Expedition can tow up to 9,300 lbs.
Ford F-150 with a 2.7L EcoBoost engine can tow 9,000 lbs.
