14×40 Lofted Barn Shed to Comfortable Home

14×40 Lofted Barn Shed to Comfortable Home

This 14×40 Lofted Barn has been finished inside to be a home with downstairs bedroom, a full kitchen with lots of counter space, washer and dryer, bath with high end features and an upstairs loft.

Believe it or not, this lofted barn shed is a 560 square foot home.

From the outside you might not guess, but this shed has been beautifully finished inside.

Once you walk in, this doesn’t look like a shed anymore. There is an open floor plan with an eat in kitchen and a  living room area. It has more open floor space than most shed/home conversions you see.

The kitchen has plenty of counter space

This is the kitchen, with a full size stove with a microwave with hood and stainless double steel sink.

The loft is accessed by stairs.

The small downstairs bedroom has windows on two walls. There is no closet, so a garment rack provides storage for hanging clothes.

Full Bathroom in 14×40 lofted barn shed to house conversion

The bathroom has a good-sized walk in shower with glass doors. Many tiny homes and shed conversions have claustrophobic bathrooms, but this one has room.

They chose a vessel sink, which means more counter space around it.
