Buy a Used Disney Fort Wilderness Log Cabin
We drove by cabins for sale somewhere between Melbourne and Ormond Beach, Florida. Later, while fueling up, I opened Facebook Marketplace to see if there was something intriguing nearby. We were in no hurry. I immediately recognized the same cabins I saw. Same gravel lot, same log cabins sitting on the same blocks with the same trees. The listing didn’t say much, but when I searched a little bit I found six more listings, many using the exact same photos.
There are quite a few listings of Disney Fort Wilderness Log Cabins for sale on Facebook Marketplace.
Disney Fort Wilderness Log Cabins are free-standing cabins by the campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. They are 12′ wide by 42′ long, 504 square feet. They sleep six. There is one bedroom with a double bed and bunk beds, some storage, a small closet and a TV. The living room has a pullout sofa bed. There is a kitchen with a fridge, 2-burner stove top or full stove with oven, microwave, sink and dishwasher.
Facebook Marketplace has different sellers with slightly different descriptions, sizes, locations and prices, but many use the same photos.
This is what it says about them on Disney’s website;
The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort
https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/resorts/cabins-at-fort-wilderness-resort/Wilderness Cabin
at The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort1 Queen Bed and 1 Double-Size Sleeper Sofa and 1 Bunk Bed
Sleeps up to 6 Adults
Includes a kitchen with 2 counter-top burners, a fridge and microwave, and a patio.
The cabins seemed to rent for $605.00 a night before any discounts or extra fees. You can’t reserve them right now. Evidently they are being changed out for a different type of cabin.
While they were at Disney, the cabins include: One Queen Bed and One Sofa Bed and One Bunk Bed with Free Wifi, Fridge, Microwave, Full Kitchen, Air conditioning, Alarm clock, Closet, Coffee/tea machine, Daily housekeeping, Desk, Dishwasher, Free Wifi, Hair dryer, In-room safe box, Iron and ironing board, Kitchen, Media player, Microwave, Phone, Refrigerator, Satellite/cable channels. And of course, they were on the Disney Fort Wilderness Resort.
This Facebook Marketplace listing has the most content. This cabin is advertised as 12.5-feet wide and 43-feet long.

You can buy the cabins and have them moved to your own land.
This is the way they have been set up at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. They are being sold without the porch.
This is another photo of one of the log cabins on the Disney resort. It has a smaller porch.
The cabins are disconnected from all utilities and hauled away. They can be hauled to your land!
Living Room
The cabins are being sold with everything still in them.
The living room has a sleep sofa bed and storage.
The living room, kitchen and dining area are all one room.
Kitchen
Some of the kitchens do not have an oven, just a two-burner stove top. Other kitchens show a full size stove with oven. The kitchens have a built-in dishwasher and microwave. There are plenty of cabinets and good countertop and a sink, Many of the cabins still have the refrigerator.
Not all of the cabins are arranged identically. This kitchen has a full-size stove with oven, a pantry and a corner sink.
Bedroom
There is one bedroom with a door that closes.
The cabins come with a full size bed and bunk beds.
There is an exit from the bedroom, too.
Not all of the furniture is the same. Similar, but not identical. Some listings say the cabin is 12-feet wide. Others say it is another six inches wider. Could be they are actually different sizes, not just inside measurements vs. outside measurements.
Some of the photos look like the whole cabin is smaller than other photos. Compare the bedroom photos. This photo looks a lot more crowded than the one above. It looks like it is more than six inches smaller.
Bathroom
The bathroom has a built-in fiberglass tub and shower with surround.
The sink is inset in the countertop. The cabins include many of the rustic touches that Disney Fort Wilderness decorates with.
Hallway
There is a hallway between the bedroom and open kitchen/dining/living room. The Bathroom is through the door to the right. The bedroom is straight ahead.
The cabins come ready to set up.
