Geodesic Dome Homes

Someone asked me to take a look at the Dome House on Facebook Marketplace. I searched “dome” and found three local and a lot more outside my local area.

This is the  one she wanted me to see.

The Glamp Nation website says this makes a 300 square foot dome. The size of a tiny home, but with round walls…

The Marketplace post says the pictures are of examples of how the dome will look put together. The dome kit is still new in the boxes. So are the other two I found near me.

36-ft Dome Home(s) on Facebook Marketplace

Each 36 foot dome has 1,023 square feet of floor space.

The seller included this photo showing a loft or second floor. The dome is 20 feet high inside, so there is plenty of room for an upstairs.

Facebook has quite a few Groups and Pages with domes. Cindy Stars Glamping is in China. It is not clear whether she sells domes, works for a company that makes domes or just likes domes. But there are quite a few good photos, if you want ideas.

This is a realistic interior of a small dome. A lot of the other photos have a Tardis, bigger on the inside sorta thing going on.

You can look inside this dome to have a good idea what fits in a small dome. Not much.

Igloo Glamping’s business page doesn’t seem to have been active since 2021, but has a lot of photos of the inside of small geodesic dome tents that can be set up permanently.

Two of the listings include curtains to cover the big clear window. You would need curtains.

It shows photos of what comes in the package if you order a geodesic dome tent from them.

If you search for dome homes on Google, you find a lot of them on Alibaba, Amazon and Etsy. The Geodesic Dome Tent on Amazon has a lot of photos, but they look larger on the inside than the size of the dome listed could possibly be.

This one is on Craigslist.
