Single Section ADU Modular Homes

Single Section ADU Modular Homes

Most modular homes are built from two, three or more sections joined together. They are larger than we can have as an ADU where we live.

A single wide modular home costs less to build, costs less to deliver and costs less to set up.

Legacy Housing Single Wide Modular and Manufactured Homes

A single section modular home can be up to 76-feet long and 16-feet wide with up to 3” overhang. But they can also be more compact, with a smaller footprint. A small single piece modular home makes an ideal ADU or granny flat.

Modular and manufactured homes are built inside a factory warehouse

Modular homes are built like a traditional home, but inside a factory.

While the home is being built, we will prepare a foundation.

Nearly all of the permits and inspections will be done at the factory. Once the home is completed, they will move the finished home and put it on our foundation.

There are a lot more options available as manufactured or mobile homes or park model homes. But there are a lot of advantages to modular construction. And we are zoned to allow modular homes, not mobile or manufactured homes or park models.
