Blue Ridge Cabin River Rock II Model

Blue Ridge Cabin River Rock II Model

The River Rock II at Blue Ridge Cabins. It is an example of their Mountain Architecture Style, which I really like.

The River Rock Series is part of our Mountain Architecture offering. These homes are built with rustic flavor, designed for those who desire to live in beautiful places, whether it be among the clouds in the mountain tops, lakeside, or on a quiet street not far from town. Mountain Architecture, providing a refuge from the routine.

We toured this house twice when we first bought our land, but I didn’t get many pictures. We dropped by on our way back from the beach last month. They weren’t open, I got some photos this time.

All of the floor plans that Blue Ridge Log Cabins builds can be a traditional log cabin or this style, with a lot of natural materials, not logs.

Mountain Architecture Options

  • Bold, natural and textured sustainable materials
  • Poplar bark and cedar shake adds diversity
  • Rustic beams, timbers and exposed rafters
  • Stonework that brings the outside inside and creates drama
  • Blends aesthetically with the topography
  • Expansive windows open up to broad rear elevation views
