Casa Cubed Shipping Container Homes
A new Container house showed up in my Facebook feed this morning.
They are made by Casa Cubed. I looked them up.
This is their website: casacubed.com
This is their Facebook page: www.facebook.com/CasaCubedLLC
They are a family owned and operated company. Andres and Maria Guillama, build these container houses in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Casa Cubed is committed to building the best. The best contractors and people, using the best materials, starting with the strongest base in a steel container, building nothing but the best of tiny houses ready to take on the world.
The homes we build are fully completed and livable, inclusive of all necessary insulation, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and furniture custom curated to the specifics of the home.
Container Homes
Casa Cubed Shipping Container Homes can be built quickly and affordably. A home can be completed in as little as 12 weeks. They start with a 20’ or 40’ long shipping container. Shipping containers are made to be strong and durable, so they can be used anywhere and they will last.
The 20’ Casa Cubed container house gives you up to 160 square feet. The 40’ container house has up to 320 square feet. They can be left on the trailer or installed on concrete footings.
This shipping container is connected to a chassis trailer. Completed, these weigh from 12,000 pounds to 20,000 pounds. This 20’ La Primavera Casa container home weighs 12,500 pounds. It takes at least a 3/4 ton pickup with good towing capabilities to move one.
If the container house is put on a permanent foundation, it can be considered an Accessory Dwelling Unit. Many areas that don’t allow tiny houses because they consider them mobile homes, will allow an Accessory Dwelling Unit either permanently or temporarily.
Casa Cubed Shipping Container Homes use normal electric appliances; washer, dryer, stove…
They have a 50 amp quick disconnect. They can have incoming water set up with just a garden hose connection and black water hook up for either septic or sewer.
Casa Cubed also offers an off grid option with generator, compost or incinerator toilet and solar panels.
