A-Frame with Bump-out Shed Roof Addition
This modified A-frame house is near our new house.
The house itself is only 26-feet wide. It was built in 1978.
The deck wraps around the front and side of the house. It is big enough to put a table and chairs on and use as an outside room, although they don’t.
The whole front of the house is glass. They have added drapes for privacy and it is wooded enough not to have to worry about too much sun.
The house has had four additions over the years. They’ve finished the basement. It opens straight out at ground level in the front.
Below is the house footprint. What a difference adding the 8-foot wide, 4′ deep bump-out will make to the usefulness of the rooms inside.
