New Island Pendant for the Log Cabin
This is the island pendant we picked out for the log cabin.
I love the look! The right lighting makes all the difference.
We put copper light switch and outlet covers everywhere and the cabin. The door knobs are all rose gold. This is perfect to go with both.
I figured out a really easy way to hang this by myself.
I measured everything first and trimmed the wires to fit. I decided how much chain and how many downrods and pre-assembled everything.
After I found the right breaker, flipped it and got the other pendants down, I put the light up on a stool. It was a little wide, so I put the doggy door cover under it, to make sure it wouldn’t slide off.
That way I could make all the electric connections without balancing anything. The canopy is big, so there was plenty of space to work.
And how brilliant is this? They put locking carabiners as the final connection!
Super easy to put together.
I got some nice big 40 watt clear LED bulbs. I love it!
