Transplanting Daffodils to the New House

I put some daffodils in the field at our new house. When I visited Ireland, I saw fields that were filled with daffodils. I decided to put some in that will be visible in the spring from living room, dining room and our bedroom windows.

I dug up a few from the log cabin that weren’t really in a good location anyway, separated them and put them in at the new house.

After they have finished blooming, I will separate more of them. I love daffodils and I have put in a ridiculous number of them here. They really need to be separated, so there will be enough for both houses.
I saw a lot of rabbits while I was planting the daffodils, but I was never fast enough to get a picture of them.

With all the overgrown brush died back from the winter, I was able to make it down to the edge of the land by the brook.

The city is going to do some work here. The brook has eroded and moved, which left a pipe hanging.
Don’t you just love how they have supported it?
