Driveway Progress, Footers Draining, Clearing Up

January 15th: I went down to see how things are going. It is wet, muddy and very cold, but they got a lot done.

They scraped and leveled the driveway and put in a drainage ditch.

They put in two culverts.

They dug a trench from the footers to the gully to try to drain some of the water away.

I went home and saw the forecast. NO!!!!

January 16th: With it getting warmer, the ice is breaking up. The water is mostly drained out, but the sides of the footers have caved in.

They cleared up more of the fence and more trees and brush. They took the debris away by truck.

They made progress on the driveway. And it started to snow again. It is snowing now.
