Harris Homes were kit houses available after WWI. You could order your entire house, even the furnishings and have it delivered by train.

There is probably no better specimen of small bungalow offered. Study the picture carefully. Note the strict harmony even in the smallest details. Here is a case where exterior plainness, perfectly handled, has resulted in a striking economical exterior. Note  the broad roof with its wide overhanging eaves properly supported by decorative brackets – the tasty porch.

A glance at the floor plan shows the living rooms properly placed on one side and the bedrooms on the other, with the bathroom at the rear. The handsome arts and crafts front door leads to a spacious apartment intended for the living room and dining room; doors lead to two good sized bedrooms at the side and the large kitchen at the rear.
