Tiny House Trial

Tiny House Trial

This used to be a carport. It was closed in to add another room with a bathroom and laundry. My friend lived here to see if she could fit in a tiny house.

The room is big enough for a dresser and wardrobe, California King sized bed, kitchenette and a table for two. It was heated with a vented gas fire, warm and cozy.

We put in a door, since it had been open to the kitchen.

The bathroom has space for storage, a standard sized washer and dryer, full-sized tub, sink with cabinet and a toilet of course.

There is room for a full size washer and dryer in the bathroom. We added storage above.

The wall is finished with 2x4s cut and glued to the wall with liquid nails.

There was enough space, so we went to a larger fridge. Not full size, but more space than a tiny dorm fridge.

We eventually got a much larger wardrobe. This is one we already had.

The bedside tables hold plenty of stuff, there are under-bed storage boxes and the dresser holds more. There is storage in the bath/laundry room, too. It makes a very roomy tiny house!
