This barn-style kit can be used to assemble a cabin, workshop or garage.

It builds a 2-story barn style building you can customize any way you want. Downstairs there is an eight foot ceiling. Upstairs the ceiling is a little over 7 feet tall. The Gambrel Barn roof has a 4/12 pitch.

This is not delivered pre-assembled. This is a kit you put together yourself. That way you can pull permits and get any needed inspections along the way.

The kit has everything you need to frame in, except the bottom foundation floor. Materials for the upstairs floor are included. The trusses are delivered pre-cut ready to assemble and gable ends are pre-built in 4 foot sections. The kit includes stairs that can be put on either wall. The other lumber and materials are all included, but need to be trimmed to fit. It includes nails, hardware, and wood glue. The kit includes 7/16 OSB roof sheathing, but does not include shingles.

The siding is 8” grooved Premium LP Smart Side Paneling. It is textured to look rather like board and batten. The material is treated to resist fungal decay and insect infestation. It comes pre-primed, ready to paint any color you want. The siding has a 50-year limited warranty

The kit does not include paint, shingles, doors, windows or the floor. You can put in whatever doors or windows you want. If you are going to use this as a garage, you can put in a garage door. If you want to use this as a tiny house, you can use normal house doors and windows.

Finish the inside any way you want. Add insulation, then interior siding. Even electric and plumbing.

Wall Framing: Includes 16” OC wall studs, designed to meet the international building codes of BOCA, IBC-IRC-2006 Edition. Walls are furnished with treated bottom plate.

Exterior Siding: Primed 3/8” Smart Panel 8” o.c. groove included

Roof System: 2×6 trusses (30 psf flat ground snow load, 90 mph wind load) and 7/16 OSB roof sheathing included.

Loft Floor: 2×8 floor joists, 3-1/2” x 11-7/8” center beam, ¾” OSB tongue and groove floor included.

Exterior Trim: White pine trim for gable, corners and optional doors is included.

Hardware: Nails for all framing, metal hangers for floor joist and hurricane hangers for trusses are all included.
