Project: Towel Warmer, Oh Yes!
I discovered towel warmers on a trip to Ireland. Wow! What a treat! Getting out of the shower to a toasty warm towel.
They just don’t cost that much! And installation was 6 screws.
This one is by Warmrails. There was no outlet where I wanted it, so poked a hole in the bottom of the wall and ran the cord to an outlet outside the bathroom. Yeah, really. Later, when we changed the trim around the doors, I made it look more finished. But it’s still just a hole in the wall so the cord can reach the outlet on the other side of the wall.
Warmrails towel warmer is made to run 24-hours a day and use less energy than a light bulb.
I don’t leave the one in the bathroom on all the time. I just turn it on and hang my towels and whatever I’m changing into over it when I need it. By the time I get out of the shower or bath, everything is toasty and warm.
We liked it so much, we got a second floor standing one for the closet. We leave it on all winter. It takes the chill out of the closet and warms my clothes if I’m together enough to pick them out the night before.
